Overview & History
The Urology Department is part of the Specialty Block, which was dedicated in 2011. This block houses several departments, including nephrology, neurology, neurosurgery, and medical and surgical gastroenterology, along with their outpatient and inpatient facilities. The block is equipped with 40 ICU beds, 25 high-care beds, and six modular operating theaters .
The college offers a 3-year full-time M.Ch. (Master of Chirurgiae) in Urology program, affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The program is designed for candidates who have completed an MS or DNB in General Surgery. Admission is through the NEET SS (Super Specialty) examination, and the course has a total of 6 seats
